In today’s world anti-aging injections are a safe and popular way for the prevention of and smoothing out of fine lines and wrinkles caused by ageing, exposure to the sun, or simply genetics. Tiny needles are used to inject Botulinum Toxin into the muscles that are creating the lines and wrinkles.

Botulinum Toxin blocks the signal from the brain to the muscles. This means the muscles can no longer contract. Lines and wrinkles will appear softer, however, depending on the severity of these it may take your skin a little time to completely smooth them out.

Bruising may occur but is extremely rare. Some people may experience headaches on the day of treatment, though this is also very uncommon. In fact, this treatment is well known to reduce headaches. In extremely rare cases there may be inadvertent spread of the  Botulinum Toxin causing heaviness of the eyelid, however, in these cases it would also dissolve within a few weeks. 

This is a very short procedure—only lasting a few moments! We’ll use tiny needles to treat the facial area of concern.

Typically results last around 3 months, however on repeated treatments it is common to last longer, sometimes 4-5 months. 

Most of our patients would describe it as a little nip at worst.

Avoid touching your face or applying makeup in the hours following your treatment. Heated environments are a no, such as saunas and steam rooms following 24 hours after treatment.
